When an Eye was killed, Zhaitan would be temporarily blinded. When a Mouth was killed, Zhaitan would go hungry and would be weakened. Zhaitan’s weakness was its over-reliance on these specialized minions, that would disrupt and weaken the Elder Dragon when killed.
